Cyber Tech News is an online platform that delivers the latest news, reviews, and insights on technology, cybersecurity, and innovation. We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join our team and help us with the administrative and operational tasks of our small but growing company.

Responsibilities

As an Admin Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with the CEO and support him with his daily schedule, travel arrangements, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Manage the office supplies, equipment, and facilities, and ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Handle the payroll, invoicing, accounting, and budgeting processes, and liaise with external vendors and partners.
  • Coordinate and organize internal and external events, such as staff meetings, webinars, conferences, and workshops.
  • Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
  • Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful as an Admin Assistant, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in administrative or office management roles, preferably in the technology or media industry.
  • A proficient and fluent command of the English language, with excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • A strong knowledge of and experience with various office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, etc.

  • Establish and enforce the editorial guidelines and standards of TechNews, and ensure the accuracy, clarity, and originality of our content.
  • Review and edit the content produced by the editorial staff before publishing, and provide constructive feedback and suggestions.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance and engagement of our content, and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Research and stay updated on the latest developments and trends in the technology industry, and propose new content ideas and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the design, marketing, and sales teams to create and deliver compelling and relevant content to our audience and customers.

Requirements
